Konbini is an indie vignette game that invites players to explore the narrator’s memories of an abandoned convenience store. In 2013, Subway Surfers introduced Tokyo as a limited-time destination in its World Tour mode. In these screenshots, Harumi surfs past a variety of soda machines.


Having never visited Tokyo myself, I can’t speak to the accuracy of the “one soda machine stacked on top of another” configuration.

How edgy is this screenshot from Gungrave, a third-person shooter for the PS2 starring a guy with a coffin full of guns chained to his back? So edgy that I almost overlooked the soda machines.

As far as I can tell, these guys from Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number bought a bunch of Red Pop from the soda machine, spilled it everywhere, and then slipped in the puddles. Tragic!

Everything is vaguely creepy in Silent Hill — even the vending machines!
