Somebody wake up the amphibious protagonist of Kero Blaster and get some caffeine into him. There’s work to be done! Thanks for the screenshot, FranziskaVKarma21!

This vending machine from Spy Fox 3: Operation Ozone is a bit of a conundrum. It dispenses “canned laughter,” which is essentially a spy gadget disguised as a can of soda. But, it makes a PFFT! sound when opened and sloshes around like there’s liquid inside… so I’m counting it!

Thanks, dj gossip cop!

Soda, water, beer — this vending machine from Gridberd has it all! There’s even a button to summon a limousine. Thanks for the screenshot, LumberPile!

I thought I had caught ’em all, but then dj gossip cop pointed out that my collection was missing the soda machines from the original Pokémon Red and Blue!

Californium is an exploration game loosely based on the life of Philip K. Dick, author of the science fiction novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Soda? (later adapted to film as Beverage Runner). Thanks, Cornelius!

I’ll give the Rainbow Six: Eagle Watch expansion pack credit; its vending machines are a vast improvement over the base game. Thanks again for the screenshot, Darren!

The Slaughtering Grounds is mostly known for its awfulness, but I’ve seen far worse vending machines in far better games. Of course, it’s entirely possible these assets were “liberated” from a better game. Thanks to Cornelius for the heads-up on this one and simonmkwii for grabbing the screenshot!

This science fantasy drink machine from the Enchanter’s University cafeteria in Enchanted Arms has really cast a spell over me. Thanks to BookishGamer and Reiveth for helping track this one down!

Check out this soda machine from Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six and rest assured that Red Storm Entertainment spared no expense to bring you this AAA title. Thanks for the screenshot, Darren!

El Matador stars a DEA special agent tasked with taking down drug cartels in Central and South America, providing players with opportunities to seize both coca and cola.
Believe it or not, this entry marks the 2,000th soda machine cataloged here at The Video Game Soda Machine Project. Thanks to everyone who has contributed along the way!

I respect a game like Hidden Target (a.k.a. Jonathan Kane: The Protector) that features a soda machine in the very first room of the tutorial level. It makes my job so much easier.

You know, for a game with a flashy title like Megamagic: Wizards of the Neon Age, this is a surprisingly sedate soda machine. Thanks for the screenshot, Cornelius!

Will you choose classic Coma Cola or Coma Cola Xtrem Flavour in cyberpunk RPG E.Y.E.: Divine Cybermancy?
