Allow me to drop some automotive science on you. Cars drink motor oil. Ergo, this motor oil vending machine from Rush: A Disney•Pixar Adventure is the Cars universe equivalent of a soda machine.
I know what you’re thinking. Wouldn’t that make the hubcap vending machine in the above screenshot some kind of weird automotive shoe dispenser? Wrong. In the Cars universe, cars eat hubcaps. We just never see it on screen. Therefore, this is technically a snack machine. Sorry, I don’t make the rules.

For a game set on a deserted island, Animal Crossing: New Horizons sure has a lot of soda machines. In addition to the vending machine already archived here at the site, there’s also this red model — a steal at only 2,000 Nook Miles. Thanks for the screenshot, Nick!
Soul Knight
Roguelike dungeon-crawler Soul Knight introduced this neon-lit beverage machine in a recent update, allowing heroes to treat themselves to a random beverage for a mere 5 gold. I have my fingers crossed for an Amnesia Potion.

DOOM Eternal
I don’t see how anyone could reasonably describe DOOM Eternal as Hell on Earth when there are vending machines and a photo mode.
As an added bonus, I decided to livestream a timed soda machine run on DOOM Eternal’s Ultra-Violence difficulty mode. You can see the results (with commentary) on Twitch. For what it’s worth, it took me approximately 15 minutes to reach the game’s first vending machine.
