Creed: Rise to Glory
Gonna fly now with this Up Crack Cola Energy Drink machine in Creed: Rise to Glory VR. Thanks for the screenshot, Bort on Byte!
WORLD OF HORROR
Vending machines function as in-game shops (and random encounters) in spooktacular dread-’em-up WORLD OF HORROR. Thanks for the screenshots, panstasz!
Gears of War 4
I leapt out from behind a waist-high concrete barrier long enough to grab a screenshot of these tragically empty vending machines from Gears of War 4.
Rush: A Disney•Pixar Adventure
Allow me to drop some automotive science on you. Cars drink motor oil. Ergo, this motor oil vending machine from Rush: A Disney•Pixar Adventure is the Cars universe equivalent of a soda machine.
I know what you’re thinking. Wouldn’t that make the hubcap vending machine in the above screenshot some kind of weird automotive shoe dispenser? Wrong. In the Cars universe, cars eat hubcaps. We just never see it on screen. Therefore, this is technically a snack machine. Sorry, I don’t make the rules.
Bleeding Edge
Níðhöggr, a melee assassin from Ninja Theory’s online brawler Bleeding Edge, rocks out in front of a couple of soda machines.
Good Job!
Soda machines feature prominently in Good Job!, Nintendo’s new workplace puzzler for the Switch. Just be careful not to abuse them, okay?
Animal Crossing: New Horizons
For a game set on a deserted island, Animal Crossing: New Horizons sure has a lot of soda machines. In addition to the vending machine already archived here at the site, there’s also this red model — a steal at only 2,000 Nook Miles. Thanks for the screenshot, Nick!
Soul Knight
Roguelike dungeon-crawler Soul Knight introduced this neon-lit beverage machine in a recent update, allowing heroes to treat themselves to a random beverage for a mere 5 gold. I have my fingers crossed for an Amnesia Potion.
Thanks to Viggen77 on Reddit for the screenshot!
