You can’t run a proper pet spa in The Sims 2: Apartment Pets without a vending machine or two! First up, we have a standard vending machine that sells soda and bottled water.

Upscale clientele might prefer the deluxe model that dispenses “everything but the kitchen sink.”

Or, you know, if you hail from the distant future, maybe the Ultimate Vending Machine is more your style.

Finally, here are the icons for each vending machine from the game’s furniture menu.

Not long after The Sims launched, Maxis partnered with Pepsi to deliver this soda machine as free DLC. This entry wouldn’t have been possible without fan-driven efforts to preserve the Pepsi machine DLC and patch the game’s launcher for Windows 10. Thanks, everyone!

Sadly, The Sims FreePlay’s discontinued predecessor, The Sims Social on Facebook, didn’t have any soda machines. The closest it ever got was this Dr Pepper toilet.
